Numbers seem to be on the increase every raceday in the junior classes over the last 12 months or more and after the extremely successful practice day on March 30th, 3 more new drivers signed on for racing the following day. In total there were nearly 30 drivers under the legal age to take to the roads donning race suits, neck braces and helmets anxious to get on track and give it their all. With these high numbers, it was decided to split both the production juniors and rookies into 2 groups on the day. This worked very successfully and to the appreciation of the parents. Following on from that, at the committee meeting, it was decided to continue in this way once there was more than 10 drivers in either of the junior classes. The top 2 drivers from group 2 will be promoted to group 1 for the next days racing with the bottom 2 in group 1 dropping to group 2. In this way the championship will remain the same with 1st , 2nd and 3rd overall being rewarded at the end of the year.
