It only seems like yesterday that we celebrated a very successful 2019 season at the prizegiving dinnerdance but the dawn of the new 2020 season is now almost upon us. Sunday next, Febuary 23rd, sees the season opener with a non-championship day of racing. It is a great opportunity for drivers to test new cars,- and I've heard through the grapevine that there are a good number of them- in race conditions. Of course other drivers will want to blow the dust and cobwebs off the old reliabiles to see if they are up to another season of racing. Like all racedays, there will be day trophies up for grabs for the top 3 in each class- which this time are kindly sponsored by Kieran Sandford Motors - which will add to the competitive side of things as drivers always like to secure a first trophy for the new season.
Racing starts at 12 noon with the usual 3 rounds of racing on the cards. Drivers are advised to arrive early to get through scrutiny and assist the marshals throughout the day.
As a spectator, why not bring all the family for what will be a great day out
